Competition

"Competition" was the first action that we realized. It came about from the idea that the participants could question the social construction of their gender and confront their macho ideas of sexual practice. In every social institution (school, family, church, etc.) they educate and teach us how women and men "should" be as socially constructed subjects, starting from the look and desires of others. The competition consisted in seeing who had the greatest quantity of hair in their underarm, Lorena or the guys in the project, and making a visual record of this competition.
